Christmas is my favourite time of the year! There are gorgeous Christmas lights everywhere, pretty photo-taking spots and lots of Christmas-themed events happening. It’s literally one of the few times that boring Singapore gets a tremendous makeover with festive decorations. Just take a walk down Orchard Road and you will get what I mean!

Bounce Off! Fiesta

Bounce Off! is back in Singapore for the second time and this year, it’s an entire festival! Participants get to jump, slide, bounce and climb 30+ inflatables, some as tall as 16 metres and as long as 70 metres! Bounce Off! Fiesta is happening at Bayfront Avenue, right beside Marina Bay Sands from 2nd December 2016 until 1st January 2017. Visit for more information.

Santa’s All-Star Christmas at Universal Studios Singapore

Just two months ago, Universal Studios Singapore held their iconic Halloween Horror Nights for the 6th year running and I am glad to say, I was not disappointed. With the expectations set, let’s hope Santa’s All-Star Christmas is an equally fun experience with gorgeous decorations around the park! Moreover, they are the Guinness World Records holder for largest light bulb display in an indoor venue so, be prepared for lots of photo-taking hot spots!

Universal Studios Singapore is located at Sentosa and their Christmas event will be held from 1 December 2016 to 2nd January 2017. Expect to see Santa’s Village, a new live show “Bah Humbug! A Christmas Spectacular” with a meet and greet with your favourite characters all dressed for the season.

Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay

We are all too familiar with Christmas Wonderland, which is held for the second year now at Gardens by the Bay. Far too many pretty pictures have been uploaded on Instagram/Facebook featuring the Luminarie!

Sadly, admission ticket of $8 is now required to enter Christmas Wonderland. However, it’s a small price to pay to bask in the atmosphere, really. Last I heard, tickets for selected dates are selling out fast! The event is held from now until 1st January 2017, 3.30pm-11pm.

P.S. If you are not too budget conscious, try making reservations at Pollen. You get free admission to the Flower Dome after your meal and you can snap some pictures within the dome or with the Merry Medley Floral Display, home to Christmas themed decorations!

Pokemon Christmas at Changi Airport

If you don’t already know by now, Changi Airport is currently filled with lots of Pokemon from now till 11 February 2017! In conjunction with Christmas, they have lots of Pokemon lurking around the tall grass (Get it? Lol) across all 3 terminals. Look out for the giant Snorlax hidden around the Christmas trees!

With a spending of $60 in public areas, you can even bring home a plushie for $9.90! Do remember to check out the official website for the various events happening at Singapore Changi Airport.
