It is the time of the year for Singapore’s largest night market aka pasar malam. Geylang Serai Bazaar 2017 will be held at Malay Village all the way to Geylang Serai market, Engku Aman Road, Tanjong Katong Road and along Haig Road. Some websites state that Geylang Serai Bazaar 2017 will be starting on 25 May 2017 but it is confirmed that due to unforeseen circumstances, the night market will only start on 26 May 2017 until 24 June 2017. To get there, alight at Payar Lebar MRT station.
Although the night market sells clothes, decoratives, accessories and other stuff, let’s admit it, there’s only one thing we really care about and that is FOOD! News has it that there will be over 1000 stalls at Geylang Serai Bazaar 2017, selling the usual Malay goodies such as Ramly burgers, various kuih muih, keropok lekor and also super Instagram-worthy food such as rainbow-coloured food, cotton candy soda, specialty burgers, poke bowls, watermelon volcanoes and much much more.
We visited Geylang Serai Bazaar 2017 on the first day it was open and here are the food we tried!
So what food are you looking forward to eating at Geylang Serai Bazaar 2017? Tell us!
